The soap by the sink isn't from a cash-and-carry. The towel you reached for on the first morning — the one that was thicker than you expected — didn't come from a wholesaler's catalogue. The dog shampoo that actually worked on muddy paws after the beach walk was made by someone not far from where you were staying.

We get asked about these things. A lot. So we decided to make them available.

The Weekend House Shop exists because our guests kept leaving and wanting to take a small piece of the weekend home with them. Not a fridge magnet. The actual things that made the stay feel the way it felt.

Everything here is sourced the same way we source everything else — with genuine care, a bias towards local makers, and a refusal to settle for something that's merely fine. You won't find anything in this shop that isn't already in our houses. That's the only rule we have.

The hand soaps are made in small batches. The linens are the ones on the beds. The dog shampoo has been tested by dogs who've done serious damage to themselves on a weekend away and needed washing before the drive home.

We don't stock much. We don't restock quickly. When something sells out, it's because it was worth buying.
